Mission Statement The Chamber's Mission Statement is to "Assist in the development and growth of businesses within the community by promoting networking and community service". About the Chamber In 2005 several local business leaders formed the Broussard Business Leaders Association. The primary purpose was to hold an informative monthly networking luncheon and to help promote local businesses. In July of 2007 the organization evolved into the Broussard Chamber of Commerce and is a registered member of the National Chamber of Commerce. The Broussard Chamber of Commerce officially opened their office at 209 East Main Street in Broussard in December 2008. Within the last year the Chamber has continued to hold monthly luncheons with informative speakers, ribbon cuttings and quarterly After Hours events sponsored by a Chamber member. There are currently 155 Chamber of Commerce members. Members of the Chamber have also become involved with the Acadiana Regional Alliance and Le Festival du Bon Temps a' Broussard. We encourage all new and existing businesses to join the Chamber.
